Call for papers

Dear colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2ND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE: "PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT" of the Psychological Society of Northern Greece (www.pseve.org). The 1st International Conference of PSNG was held in Thessaloniki in 2004 and focused on "Quality of Life and Psychology". Psychological assessment is another topic that brings together psychological and interdisciplinary approaches to a constructive and mutually beneficial dialogue. 

The 2nd International Conference: "Psychological Assessment" is organized in collaboration with the School of Psychology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as well as with the European Association of Psychological Assessment (www.eapa-homepage.org) that holds its 9TH EUROPEAN CONFERENCE ON PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT (ECPA9) also in Thessaloniki, May 3-6, 2007 in the same conference venue. The EAPA has a history of successful conferences in the past, starting from 1991 in Barcelona, then in Groningen (1993), Trier (1995), Lisbon (1997), Patras (1999), Aachen (2001), Malaga (2004), and Budapest (2005). 

Our aspiration is that this tradition is continued in Thessaloniki with high quality presentations covering all areas of psychological assessment including: 

Theory, methodology, ethical issues of assessment
Methods, tests, and equipments in assessment
Personality assessment
Intelligence assessment
Clinical and health assessment
Educational and developmental assessment
Assessment in work and organizations
Neuropsychological and physiological assessment
Social and environmental assessment 

We are looking forward to fruitful and in depth discussions and exchange of ideas and thoughts on new developments in psychological assessment research and theory, on new trends and advancements in testing, as well as on critical issues that should attract our attention in the future. Research in areas that have a bearing on psychological assessment is also welcome.
